M. Alan is a bespoke furniture designer and maker for significant homes. We design and build singular pieces — the ten-foot wide media unit, the dining table that fits the room, the waterfall bookcase that anchors a space. We also create themed environments: playrooms, home bars, Man Caves, and spa retreats.

Then the world changed.
Through all those years, I had always quietly dabbled in custom creations for friends and family — the kind of one-of-a-kind projects you pour your heart into. So I made a decision: do what I love most, for the people I know. Today I create for friends, neighbors, and the interior designers, builders, and architects who come to me with big ideas for their clients and need someone who can bring them to life.
None of this would be possible without the people — and pup — who keep me going: my faithful studio companion Huxley at my feet, the friends who cheer me on, and most importantly my wife Kari, whose love, patience, and belief in the work mean everything.
